Replacement batteries needed for CB10-12 (12V10AH/20HR)
I am new to the board and really have no "electrical" experience so I'm looking for help with purchasing replacement batteries for my Schwinn "Stealth 1000" scooter. I took the scooter on trip with me. when I left it worked great, but after being bumped around for a thousand miles the scooter now shuts off a few minutes after being fully charged. I looked for possible shorts but found nothing so I assume the batteries are no good. I don't know any other reason for the scooter to show a full charge and then shut off, except that the batteries are kaput! But why would they go bad so suddenly? Anybody got any suggestions?
The original batteries are manufactured by Zhongshan Hengli.
They are labeled; CB 10-12 (12V10AH/20HR). Is there a better battery that I should replace these with? Something which provides more power and longer life would be great!
