As you can tell from my last post, I am in the process of building a cheap solar set-up. I started researching so I could build a small set-up for camping, but I can already tell this is going to turn into a life long obsession. I have begun as an apprentice instrumentation technician, so my electrical knowledge and understanding will grow daily.
What are your opinions on busted cells: purchase them and hack a new panel together? Waste of time, not worth it?? Do you connect them in different configurations to get a different voltage? Remember, I want to create 70W to 80W, I don't want to run a house!
