« on: August 04, 2007, 05:58:51 PM »
Would someone please direct me to information on what I need to do to get power from my wind gen to the battery. It has something to do with a bridge. I have also seen the work rectifire mentioned. Anyway I need EASY instructions please.

you need bridge rectifiers. click on forcefield on the home page they sell for 6.50 each. i think you'll need three.

We'll need more info about your generator to help.  What is it?  Is it an axial flux, 3 phase or single, an Amtek motor?

You may not even need a bridge rectifier depending on what kind of generator you have.

I don't have a generator yet.  I still have to make it. From what I have rad, probably a three phase is the one to have. I found a diagram on WindStuffNow. I think I'll follow that scheme for my first attempt.

Well, you see the result of careless spelling.  I wonder if this poor fellow Googled "Rectifire" (rectifier).  Just for the record, Scoop, with all its faults has a rudimentary Spell Checker.
