anothr dumb ?

Can you send the wild ac directly to the inverter to be converted to 115 v and 60 hz ?

By definition an inverter converts dc to ac, it doesn't take an ac input. Guessing the next question, no you cant use a rectifier to change the wild ac to dc and feed the inverter. Normal inverters need a stable battery supply. There are special grid tie inverters that use wild dc but they need to be synchronised to the grid, they are not stand alone.

Thank you for your answer Flux I was hoping it would be You that replied.I have been learning from this forum for about a year,and have come to respect you as being one of the most knowledgeable on this site.I have learned everything I know about windmills from this site.My windmill is not exactly coventional i would say 80 % OtherPower 20% John Breidigan yes thats me.i would like to Email you a 3.5 minute video of my windmill I believe you will be very interested.
