buying windmill parts
« on: March 09, 2010, 08:49:33 AM »
hi, Im building my first wind turbine, and I found this website, magnet4less.com, and Im wondering if it is safe to buy from, the design is on the borderline amateur. which isn't a problem if their an honest business, I just don't want to put a couple hundred dollars on the line to test it out. any good or bad feedback regarding this site would be appreciated.

thanks

I purchased magnets and wire from them.  I was satisfied with the purchase and I would/will buy magnets from them again.  I think you can find better wire prices.

I used them for magnets more than a couple times.  Worked for me.

The blades they sell have mixed reviews.  Appears the design is still evolving.

I've had really good luck from them. I usually buy from their ebay store.
