Seen this evening on the local Welsh TV News. A street light with 4 PV panels and an Air-X wind turbine. To reduce the cost of running an 80W Sodium lamp?
I can't wait until they scrap the idear and try their next madcap way of spending our money. Oh! Another way was to reduce the lamp on the none PV units from 80W to 51W still using a balast.
I will offer to supply and fit CFLs if I can keep the PVs etc. Or PVs and turbines in the junk yard.
