How to build a Axial flux alternator wind turbine By Hugh Piggott
A book review
I just got done looking over the plans that came in to day.
And hats off to Hugh he done it again. A nice set of plans and a sweet design.
They just keep getting better and better. The plans are loaded with cad drawings
diagrams and pictures and are clean and easy to read.
And for folks who like me are metric challenged : )
He has included the dimensions in feet and inches. Thank you.
The part on furling system theory answered a lot of questions I had nicely.
By careful building a person will have a machine that will perform as well as any commercial
unit in its class and if tweaked for the winds at your site it could out perform some. MHO
Well worth the money.
