(This is in Reviews after discussion with TomW.)
I have a relative on an exposed farm in the Chilterns to the west of London. I think the farm that would be great for a small wind installation or two (can't do big MW-class because of bats and historic buildings, etc, etc) and I'm looking for recommendations of sensible wind folk in her neck of the woods that could do the whole job from survey to wiring up, suitable to take advantage of the new Feed-in-Tariffs, and without costing a fortune.
This should be a grown up reliable generator, no bling required!
I've already had a quick word with the right person at the DNO (owns the local wires) and it is not averse to us exceeding the G83 ~4kW limit for example.
The turbine(s) would be in an exposed windy field with a low-voltage feeder line handily running right across it I think, out of site of everyone other than some livestock.
