My Wind Turbine in the Sunset
« on: July 11, 2008, 01:39:02 PM »
I got a really great picture of my Wind Test Prop Silhouetted against the Sunset

and my Little VAWT on the rightside there

Does anybody know of any software that can remove wires

Tell that utility company to get there lines under ground, its interfering with solar and

wind power operations of  Wolf Electric. Looks good!

Woof, the Sepah News Agency seems to like Adobe Photoshop to add and remove items from photos.  Their results are mixed though. . . . Rich

Wire Pilot... not a bad program. $40US

Of course... the bird sitting in mid-air is a dead giveaway.  : )

The joke here is that you can't see the prop for the wires

or

Why am I installing my wind power under all those wires

or

or why would you want to put your turbine there

Thanks for the suggestions and the rework of the picture, interesting that the bird sitting on the wire was still there after the wires were removed from the photo.

Maybe I should have said "Caption this Picture" ?

Actually I think Woofer should be a little more worried about what his neighbors are up to instead of the all the wires!

I'm in talks with Sepah for a staff position and also with an undisclosed N. Korean agency. shhhhhh

While you are at it, you should throw in a full moon high and in the middle... a little celestial re-orbiting....

I still think a high-speed cherry picker would 'solve' the wires problem best...

And would let you test your off-grid skills too.

Just the once?  You sure?  High voltage, low voltage, telephone or 'secret'?

Woof, you could try a 100-foot tower, at the very least, to get well clear of those wires.  Free standing will also be necessary, as there will be no room to tilt it down.

Plenty options for grid-tie, though.

No one believes the theory except the one who developed it. Everyone believes the experiment except the one who ran it.

I can see why, you actually did a better job with Photoshop.  Either that or Woof has some neighbors who take their model rocketry a little too seriously.  Rich
