To introduce myself and my nephews into solar I wanted to get a solar panel and together we would use it to run some of there devices. But instead of just buying a panel I found solar cells on eBay for $1 a Watt so that is now what I have.
Now to the questions;
- Is there a website/book that is great at walking us threw putting the cells together into a panel, making an enclosure?
- Is a charge controller always necessary or could a reversed diode work just fine if I have a constant load to keep from over charging?
