Imported solar panels

I was chatting to a mate of mine about the panels he has and he said he bought them when he went overseas from Indonesia I think, they cost $500NZ thats about $340 USD including shipping to bring them back. It was a 240v panel and it was new too.



I have had a look around websites and I can't find any that are that cheap.

Does anyone know here I could buy some solar panels?

I don't plan on traveling  halfwas across the world just to buy a one.

240v panel?  That seems a lot of voltage out of a solar panel.  Did you mean 24volts or 240watts?  If you meant 24volts, then what wattage is the panel?  If you meant 240watts, then WOW!  Great price.  Although it depends on the maker and warranty.

For that price it may be worth the trip, if you are buying enough panels.
