World's Largest Solar Project Unveiled

There's been a lot of discussion of sterling engines. This would be the first commercial application of dish-style solar thermal stirling energy units.

This project has been running for a while but it's nice to see someone thinks it's economicly viable. Every time I see that picture I wonder how hard it would be to build one of those in my back yard, a littler one perhaps.

Something like that could just as easily collect microwaves beamed in from a sun collection system in space.
