Here is an overview of my Amateur Radio Shack. Everything you see in that picture is run from solar to some extent, yes, even the laptop.
Close-up of the 7Ah SLA battery that runs the radio's and a multimeter to monitor the voltage of the battery. This battery is charged by the homebuilt 6w panel I made earlier this year.
Close-up of the power supply, TONO morse decoder, TRIO TR-2200GX crystal rig, Microset power amplifier for 144MHz, SWR/Power meter, 2 PMR446 radios and the KENWOOD TH-75E handheld dual band radio (2M/70CM).
Close-up of my main rig, the Yaesu FT-230R 2M rig and frequency counter. Also has all three multimeters, left to right: 7Ah SLA voltage, 17.2Ah SLA voltage, main array current in (A).
I only just got back on the air recently and im finally making some good use of the solar power Im making. A lot of it goes to waste most of the time unfortunately.
Comments anyone?
