Solar in Alabama

Hello, I am reseraching converting my business and home over to solar. both are locate ded Central Alabama.  I am wondeing if anyone knows two things.


1) qualified installation business in alabama that can install solar system

2) the Alabama state law on Net Metering.


I am a newbie so please forgive me for asking newbie questions.

is a great place to start.


www.dsireusa.org is a resource for all things energy, by state.  Tells a lot of incentives and programs available for renewable energy.

thanks I found that site. and as i thought alabama has no net metering polcies. I guess you can neogtiate directly with your utlity? or  just go off grid?
