Has anyone
« on: September 14, 2007, 06:50:37 AM »
I have been researching the nanosafe for a while now and wondered what other peoples opinions were about them.   I contacted the company today for some information about their batteries and I will tell todays price later after some discussion. The individual batteries are a bit expensive right now but they will be coming down in price over the next 2 to 3 years.

We need a policy on these "vaporware" links to other sites. Until then I am killing any that link to non available or industrial use only technology.

If real, this looks interesting both in terms of energy density and in how fast such a battery could accept a load from intermittent RE sources such as wind.

(Also if you have lumpy power usage, such as big motor/compressor start-up spikes, this is good.)
