Building a Battery Bank

i want to buy 4 6 volt batteries this week hook them up use them for a week and buy 4 more will this be ok  all will be the same

hi brian......all the batteries should be the same age......i think if you buy 4, then buy 4 a week later, that you will be o.k.., but dont buy some a year from now and add them to your bank..i have a good battery file in my picture files if you would like to read it...good luck...pickster

 Just make sure all of the batteries are brought up to full charge when you add the second set.
