I just received the agreement from my local utility with the technical info for selling power back to the grid. Really in PA one is more likely to just offset ones use. It looks like it is going to cost around 300$ and may be more to get it hooked up.
I am interested in netmetering since then I can get some real benefit from my turbine with out batteries (I have enough of them (20) in my car). In fact If I have a induction type generator like the 5.5 KW Prairie Turbine

This seems great to me. Is there any thing I'm not thinking about here?
