I built this mill from Hugh's plans. It's 5 phase, 500 watt version.
Lots of fun building even more fun watching it run.
I have this mounted at the edge of the lake where the wind blows constant from the gully of the lake 95% of the time.
Not too tidy but here's a pic of my power box, I just finnished recharging the smaller battery for my boat .
I'm quite pleased with the outcome, you can sneeze and it will start up.
You can't even hear the blades whirl.
