Weibull distribution in different countries
« on: February 22, 2009, 07:17:30 PM »
I made a few Weibull distribution in different countries in Europe.

Datas are in one year (365 days) and 10 min cycles.

Anemometer was in top of the wind power plant (about 65m).

Grand Fougeray is about 200km away from a coast.

Oulunsalo is in the coast and you can see two different peaks in wind frequency. The first one (2,5 m/s) is local system (sun warming the earth) and the second one (5-8 m/s) is planetary wind system.

And the last one is maybe the biggest Weibull data what I had been seen on the internet. (Kuopio in Finland)

Data is in years 2001 to 2007 and there was over 1 million events. (3min cycles)

Anemometer was top of the pole (about 10m height).
