Up close and personal to a 1.8MW turbine..

Just found this link/Video that will be of intest I think.


A commercial (sorry) 1.8MW turbine in Norfolk (U.K) with a unique observational tower right beneath the blades hub, (1 of only 3 in the world apparently).

The blades alone are 3 Tonnes each..

Thats a new way of selling wind power. If you dont like the view from the ground, you may like the view from the tower.

It looks like a large pitch on them thar blades. Must be windy.
