The possibility to overcome Betz limit in wind power extraction

I found this white paper on how you could go past the Bentz limit.


The energy in the wind has two components:

 kinetic energy

 heat energy

That's not permitted on this forum.


Any heat-exchanger exposed to a flow of air also causes the air to deflect and slow down around it.  The resulting effect on the speed of the airflow would reduce the effectiveness of the WT.
