Glue, would this work (used it auto repair)

Does anyone see a problem with this glue. I would think the glass bead spacers in the glue would be a plus since the magnets want to squeeze the glue out.

what do you want to do with it?...glue the magnets down?....if thats the case there is lots of different glues that would do the job, we used durabond 2000 (in the tube like caulking)...what i do now is just pour some of the left over fiberglass resin around the magnets by making a cardboard enclosure around the plate and pour it in...hope this helps......pickster

If you have some already it is an excellent adhesive. $35 retail for 200ml is way steep but it will stick to anything. Having magnents "squeeze" out all the adhesive is not a bad thing as most glues get stronger with closely meshed tolerances. The 8115 automix builds up better in long linear runs like truck box panels. Sounds like an excellent PV panel frame adhesive, thanks for the tip. $22 a tube from trulos.com...

Thanks, i have a friend in the business and he will give me some. If I had to pay retail I would definitely find something else. Yes it is to glue magnets to plate steel.

Hello  That stuff sounds Permanant like forever.I use Gorilla to glue magnets down it holds real good and can be made to let go.Just give the edge of the mag a sharp rap, then you can reuse the mags if nessary.        Hope this helps
