To HAWT to handle?

I am considering building a HAWT and mounting it below my current wind genny.  Planning on a design that will slide over the pole and sit a few feet below the blades.  

Just looking for reasons not to do it.

just a little confused , you presently have a vawt and wish to add a hawt beneath it? or vise versa? if you presently have a hawt at the top of your tower it may be possible to utilize a vawt beneath it. but you would need to climb past one to get access to the other.
