what do you think i could offer for it?

anyone want to show off there mathematics skills

and tell me what size blades it would use and the

dc servo motor - generator.?

What voltage is the motor? If 12 volts and 100%

efficient(which it isn't)would have to spin at 2000 rpm to light a 50 watt 12volt light bulb...

in reality probably a 25 watt bulb.

Something like this is far better tho not a real powerhouse either....

Alex

If i did the math right,

it should start charging at around 145 rpm's.

About 12.5 volt's-I ain't smart enough to

say what the amps will do.

[not much]

I would take a meter, a cordless drill, and a low watt light bulb to check the volts with no load and with a load.  Just in case it won't do anything.

Hi Alex, that is a perfect motor for a wind genny.

But don't expect to much power from it. It looks like

7.8 max amps, so, 8a x 15v = 120 watts or so. Just put

a prop on it and rectify the 3 phase to dc.

oops! I looked again, it's 7.6 amps.

I have a 12hp motor like that and it

has been working flawlessly.
