PMG looks good, Alu blades look like they would not take a 100mph wind for long.

75 sold already apparently?

I Don't think I would..........

Well I think it does look pretty good but I'd like to see a good power curve for it.

They probably should of extended the blade mount the lenght of the cord easy to bend

at the end of the hub mount. Does look like they are into blades and not the genset.A very compact and interesting design. I t looks like the blades flex to flaten at highspeed instead of furl I would have to think adout furling it anyhow to save the genset from over speed .

I have bought a set of blades from this guy and they do do exactly what he says they do. I think he has a good product.

Yeah, I also bought blades from Terry and his product and service is excellent. If I wasn't so far into my home built genny, I would certainly purchase one of his units. As it is, I am going to purchase a set of his 9'1" blade sets for my 12/9 DanB design. Who knows, if my genny self destructs or burns out, I may eventually get one.

The genny is imported from China, do they mention that somewhere?

yes Terry has told me that. but only because he cant find an American manufacturer willing to work with what he wanted in a generator.

No, I would not.  It's a high price for a design with no field history and no apparent overspeed protection.  You can get a lot more Chinese machine for the money from the importer in Plano, and at least those machines have some history of usage.

Sure ... exactly what I would have said. I do not believe that this generator was built to their design specs. It's just an off the shelf unit. That does not necessarily make it bad ..., but does not give them too much credit either.

The web site is www.magnet4sale.com.  Click on the windpower link.  He has three different sizes of fiberglass rotors for sale with hubs, and also has the complete systems.  I haven't seen the full systems on the web site yet, but I looked at them at his warehouse about 5 months ago.
