Different VAWT

  I didn't watch the video because I don't have real player  but I can see it isn't going to be much of a power maker.   There isn't really enough area with the cone shape.  It's neat looking though... might be good for a few led's as a novelty VAWT.   Fun to watch it spin!  Cool idea for some spinny yard art.

It's like half a Savinous, cut off diagonally.

When you should use the whole square offered by the Savinous.

It seems an awful lot like the VAWT from Magwind.  Personally, I think Magwinds claims are hyperbolic and unsubstantiated, but then again, they're chargin 10k for a small unit.  To the best of my knowledge, they have yet to deliver on the systems which were purchased months ago, and have a tendency to avoid and delay any time the "When can I have mine" question is asked.

I like your alternative better.
