The purpose of my project is to investigate the influence of a flanged diffuser on wind turbine performance. To do this, we will purchase and build two, matching wind turbines. The setups for these two turbines will have identical generators, blade sets, bearings, and bearing tubes. Moreover, the flanged diffuser will be attached to one of these set ups, while the other set up will remain bare.
Does anyone know where I can buy turbine sets (with OR without turbine blades)? If it comes with the blades, the blades need to be 18" in diameter (in order to meet the specifications of the diffuser).
This is an educational project, and I am looking for something within the price range of $100-$250.
