NRG Systems have discontinued their Wind Explorer unit and I'm wondering if anyone has any leads on some units that someone may still have in stock?
The reason the Wind Explorer (WE) was discontinued as explained by NRG Systems:
The WE was discontinued for a few different reasons, but the main one was that NRG needed to exit the small wind business. The WE and a few other products were not the things that our core customers were buying. If you look at our web site, our product line is geared towards providing the tools that wind farm developers need: 50-60m tower systems, 12 channel data loggers, Satellite communication packs, etc. The wind energy industry is growing steadily and we have to keep up with demand and keep our lead times reasonable.
