Jet Streams and turbines
« on: December 18, 2007, 01:55:35 AM »
This seems to happen around the yearly highest avg.temp and coldest temp here in WI.

It seems to last about 2-3 weeks on each cycle and then the wind comes back.

Anyone else in the areas around noticed this phenomenon from year to year?

I know you cant mess with Mother Nature.

A winter statistic

98% of americans say "oh $#|+" after hitting a slippery spot and slide into a ditch.

The other 2% are from Wisconsin and they say, "here.. hold my beer and watch this!"

What's your longitude and latitude?  I know some meteorology/climatology students who need a project and would love to look into something like this...

Hi Allan

It seems over the past few years the Alberta Clippers have lost their gusto and the Panhandle Hookers miss to the south or lose strength.

Here is a link to my location

Jeff Foxworthy on Idaho

"You can drive 65 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard, without flinching. you might live in Idaho."

"If you're proud that your region makes the national news 96 nights each year because Stanley is the coldest spot in the nation, you might live in Idaho"
