10" turbine with vertical axis blades
« on: August 17, 2008, 03:50:10 PM »
I live off the grid in a mountenous area with fair amounts of wind. Problem is we also have a lot of lightning so I do not want to put up a tall pole. Do you have any experience with vertical blades for your 10" plans or other advice on how to deal with the lightning if I do use you normat plan?
