10 Footer 3D Drawings

I think this link is going to work...

It is a Google Sketchup 3D drawing of the part one metal work of the Otherpower ten footer.

I'm not sure if there is a way to convert these to a format usable to a CNC machine but I'm working on that too.

I do not think there is any way other than to take a screan shot and just post it as a picture.  Sadly I can not check out your work as Google Sketch does not seem to work under Windows 7... one of the few I could not at least run in a compatability mode.  Maybe I will check it out if I load up XP again.

Very cool! Not exactly useful for me in particular right now, but still very nice. I am interested to see if someone makes code for a CNC machine to mill out some wooden blades. It would take a while, but you could make a very accurate airfoil.

Google sketchup is pretty neat though.

Just finishing of CAD drawings in pro desktop currently and getting parts made from them this week.

Shall let you know if it goes well then im sure the file can be made available

I have a CNC and use Vectric software for toolpathing. I generally start with an STL or 3DS file, but there are several other alternatives. Unfortunately, there is little support for Sketchup models.
