Cam operated spring loaded air compressors

I am considering air storage the idea of making an air compressor
with the windmill running a spring loaded cam like the old fuel pumps
so a spring operates the power stroke so the pressure can never
exceed a pre-determined pressure appeals to me.....
Oztules steered me in the right direction....was wondering if anyone
else is doing it this way?

There is a website I have been to where they sell windmills where the alternator is replaced by an air compressor they have something to do with lifting water, I can't remember the name of the outfit though.

Found it, interesting stuff there, they use a gas spring for furling, kinda like Chris Olson's spring cylinder.

Thanks fabricator....things look pretty rugged !
I went to this place where oztules steered me
but he doesn't have any pictures.....but sounds
simple enough the way he describes it.
I like the way the old windmills were built....lotsa blades
self-limiting speed strong wind ...more power!
cam operated spring loaded and it can't build up any more
than the spring can compress the air.
