Shunt Regulator still out after change of FET.

Hi Guys,


I have digested all you advised and carefully installed a new FET. However it is still the same. When the circuit is connected to a battery the load comes on without the amber light on ie NE 555 not firing. Voltage not high. What now could be the problem?
