i need to convert 12v DC to 12v AC so that my new 'colour change' LED bulbs (halogen downlighter replacements, new tech, the business!) can run off our travelling cafe's solar powered system.  Any ideas?

Cheers

A small 12v inverter feeding a step down transformer ( 230 or whatever your

mains voltage is ) to 12v.

A couple of amps on the 12v secondary should be enough.

Safety.

Fuses and put the transformer in some kind of enclosure.

Quick and simple.
