I also downloaded the stuff.

The circuit looks to be quite complex,

but otherwise the article looks to be good.

I will try to study it more later.

I likes it.


I think the first section is a must-read for everyone here who might be fiddling with lead-acid batteries in their long-term setup.  It explains an (the?) ideal charging process.


If the specialized components used are not too out-of-date (document written in 1999), I'd like to built this circuit to use.  I might also layout a PCB for it if it works as well as I think it might (I have a little more time for this kind of stuff since the start-of-semester crunch is out of the way here at OSU).

I was looking for a charger to use in my FSW inverter , I think I will use this


the SCC3 charger I made is working good
