Wind Option for Solar Grid Tie System
« on: April 29, 2005, 03:13:00 AM »
I will be having a Grid Tie Solar System installed on my house with a $5 per watt rebate and I want to have the option to install a wind turbine at a later date. The solar installer says that the solar inverter will not work with a wind turbine.Any ideas/diagrams to do this cheaply.Would a Windy Boy inverter be the way to go?

From what I can see it should work for the solar and high voltage(150v+) turbines.

Thanks
