Learning about electricity

I'm a newbie to solar power & want to learn about designing solar systems.

Does someone know a good online resource for about elecricity in general?

I want to have a basic understanding of volts, watts, batteries, AC/DC...all that stuff?  something in simple language so that a non-electrical engineer like me will understand.
