sorry for that

I checked their website I assume it is fine to connect the doc in series with the plus and minus turbine wires and battery after the rectifier

should that be after the fuse and before the battery disconnect

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.

  Hi windspeed, It would be best not to a fuse between the turbine and batteries!!  If the fuse blows, the turbine will no longer be under load and will over speed!!

The rectifier acts a little bit like a fuse

how do you protect the battery and wiring if there happens to be a short circuit on the Winds Turbine line before the rectifier ?

Woof;

Personally, I just fuse the sources near the battery and fuse for catastrophic failure and not anything low enough to be blown by all sources feeding full current. In my case now that is a 100 amp fuse. My conversion might see 30 or 40 amps but basically never nail that 100 amps. A wrench across + and - will pop the fuse but no incoming will. Just my way.
