wiring Suresine 300 in house
« on: December 28, 2009, 06:04:00 PM »
I had this in car and had the Negative and ground lugs attached to the Neg. battery terminal. Where should I put that wire in the house? Can I leave it off?

The plug on the other end will be grounded..  is that good enough..??

Sounds dangerous. Wait, don't do anything yet. Please explain exactly what you want to do as there isn't enough information in your post

The ground wire for the House circuit and the Ground Lug on the inverter should go to Earth Ground. Do Not connect any Ground & Neutral wires together. If you are planning to switch this house circuit between Grid & Inverter it gets a bit more complicated. What Exactly are you trying to do ?

cant ground the big DC ground lug to house earth ground/pipe. Its not possible here.

I am going to leave it off. It will still work. I grounded the inverter/outlet to a ground wire from an adjacent house outlet. That goes to earth ground/pipe.

The inverter system is totally separate system. I cant run a 30 ft fat wire... no way.
