any thoughts on Uni-Solar PVL-124 solar panels
« on: June 21, 2010, 11:33:17 PM »
I am just getting ready to buy a few solar panels and would like to know what you all think of this Uni-Solar PVL-124? here is the sheet on it http://sunelec.com/Specs/UniSolar/UniSolar-124-Roll-PVL.pdf I am going to get a new steel roof I am just not sure how this will last. They say it just sticks on the roof it's self. It's light and would be easy to install, let me know what you all think.
Thanks,

Late last week, I looked at a US-64 made in May of 2006.
It was not repairable, by me (or anyone, is my bet).
The owner decided it was not worth the shipping cost to try get it repaired.

The sticker on the US-64 and the data sheet have some considerable similarities.
That's all I'm saying.

Just to contradict G for a moment, I have a UniSolar 62W panel still doing well so far as I can tell, almost exactly 3 years old.
