I got a permanet dc magnet motor, a gs electric and was wonderin if it can be used as a wind generator.

120VDC
2.5HP
5600 rpm

It will make 12 volts at 560rpm
it will charge a battery to 14.4 volts at 672 rpm

Isnt that rpm to fast to charge a battery, if it can be used what blade design would i need?

 Four in series in a good wind area works .I know where you are .  Wanting to get some things together to get started on a system . I started with solar . A little at a time to get some batteries and put them in place to get an idea of the power I could replace on grid . I haven't done too bad I still shop for batteries much the same as I did then . Batteries plus has t 105s and 108s for 100 bucks and I buy them with extra money . Solar is mixed in with the wind and I could go on but those original project have given way to a method to make real world grid energy deductions .yada yada .
 That Three or four volt average needs some other units  if you have the room ; or you need to rethink your start . You might just spend some time charting the wind in your area . Do  you have modest tree flagging ? Is the good wind at 20 or 50 feet in elevation? Things like that with Betz in mind is a good start . Don't get frustrated by this unit .

I live the caribbean, jamaica and where am at is very windy sometimes. I live in a two story house, so i was gnna put the windmill on top. Has anyone used this motor for wind turbine?

Expect some noise to be transmitted into the house if you mount it on the roof.

Any gearing system recommended for this motor?

Bicycle crank is about right 4 to 1 is good you should be able bolt a cassette sprocket on the fly wheel of the motor and the crank sproket to a blade hub.Use grease  on the chain and make a cover for the mech . Fashion and idler for the chain  and set it on a tilt up tower for adjustments .

I think 672 rpm is not achievable under normal circumstances.  But since you have the motor, if you really want some power, you will need to gear it up.  It would not be easy, especially for your first windmill.  Maybe a set of small 4' diameter might get you close on a windy day.

 I just recently bought an inline Helical gear, 10"1 ratio gear reducer, on ebay.  Paid $50.00. It's like new but has been used. My son will buy an extra set of seals, before it gets down here.

  I have started the hub system for the governing blade, but, I am way backed up with Furniture orders, so, I'm going slow on the project.

  I might use the governed hub on my Treadmill motor, that is 90V-20 Amp rated @ 3100 RPM. I plan to make a set of 4' long blades, giving me an 8'5" span.

  Might change generators, to get more watts at lower voltage.

  I will do up a Diary build when I get to work on the system in earnest.

When the motor was spun with my hand i got 3-4VOLTS, with that in mind i thought it generate at least 13v at the wind.

 It probably will. Mine won't get above 6.7 volts, in an 11.4 MPH wind. Mine is only 13' off the ground, and surrounded by house, bushes and trees. I know it needs to go up to 45'+, but, I'm watching for balance problems, especially as it yaws, very quickly. So far, all is well.

  When I pull it down, I will document the Anemometer I built for less than $22.00. Works well, even in the sheltered area.

You might nug 12 volts at 500to 600 rpm  but your not going to hit 600 rpm and drive any current after cut the motor is  just out of range .
