Extremely well done!
Does that camera of yours do the time lapse or is that some software trick?
Thanks Vf...the camera will do time lapse with a software hack and it does it very nicely. The time lapse on this video was done in editing because I wasn't sure if I wanted to slow things down to show the trailer being hooked up and unhooked so I filmed everything in 640x320 15fps.
Just about all the Canon "A" series can use the CHDK (Canon Hack Development Kit).
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK It would do a nice time lapse of your tracking panels
If you look at craigslist or fleebay you can sometimes pick up very nice deals. Last week I saw a Canon A560 on craigslist "used very little, works like new" still in box and complete for $40!
Very good!
(And supermarkets may be the same the world over...!)
I do really like taking the trailer into the store as a trolley. That alone is an excellent reducer of aggravation IMHO.

Thanks Damon, it's pretty easy to hook/unhook which was the main consideration when I started building him.
Nice. Will it fit an insulated box for buying frozen goods? Maybe stick a styrofoam box inside the plasic one.
Right when I get the trailer outside in the video you can see a Rubber Maid 30gal. tote to the right of the trailer. I found that a few weeks ago in a dumpster when I was out riding. I came home and grabbed Woody and went back and strapped it on and it barely fit.
The deck is 28"x 16" wide and I would feel comfortable with... maybe 60 to 70lbs on top...
I have an insulated bag I'll toss in when I think I need to keep something cool but a Styrofoam box or cooler would work well. I just haven't found the right one yet
Thanks dnix!
Hello..
I understand that "Woody" is suppose to push your bike, but the video looks like you're doing a lot of peddling?
ax7
Woody will push me along on level ground for 12 miles without any pedaling at around 17mph... faster if you want but then range decreases. I pedal all the time, mostly as a habit, but it's about the only kind of exercise I like
so I always try to pedal.
