[SOLD] 24v 2000/4000 watt inverter for sale [SOLD]
« on: October 05, 2010, 08:50:31 PM »
Hi Folks I have my 24v DC -120 V AC inverter for sale.
I bought it brand new off of eBay about 6-8 months ago and have ran it on occasions. It runs fine and never had anything odd going on such as surges, fuses blown etc etc. Everything works just fine.

It has a watt meter, DC voltage meter and a overload and over temp light.
Another feature it has, is a remote start. You can see it in one of the photos, it looks like a keychain and has an antenna which plugs into the inverter (black box)
It also comes with the manual.

I'll take 150 bucks, shipped to anywhere in the lower 48. It will be packed well. Anywhere else in this world will be just what it takes to get it to ya minus what the lower 48 would have cost.

They are $250 new, including shipping from ebay.

"Fused" here on the forum has a 24v system. Maybe you could make him an offer. He asked me about the inverter I listed, but mine was 12v.

1/2 that capacity in a sine wave inverter is $270 from Home Depot

Hi Freejuice,

What sort of operation have you tested this with, ie load current and voltage?

Is it standalone or grid-tie, and does it include a manual?

If it is still sold on Ebay, maybe you could just give me a link so I can read about it without asking so many questions.

Also, where are you located?  I'm in Dallas.

thanks and regards!

Hi Slingshot,
I'm sorry, I sold the inverter several weeks ago. It was a stand alone inverter....not to be grid tied, it would smoke it, if the neutral and commom were connected... as in normal house wiring.
The inverter did handle 2000 watts a few times.....two 110v outlets
They still sell them on ebay...iit would make a great "backup" inverter if something happened to your primary inverter.
 All the best,
 Gavin

I wish folks would post this info. Then we could close the thread and mark it [SOLD] it would save these questions after the fact.

Doing that now.
