Greetings, The PMA can also function as a motor. Using the fabrication techniques illustrated on this site and other to create 2 PMA's, One to generate power and one to act as a motor for a Recumbent Tricycle. Should the PMA's be the same size, be different sizes, and if they where different sizes which one should function as the motor or generator to gain the best performance from human power? Comments Welcome.

ghurd:
What is the purpose?

It only requires one to do both jobs.

Greetings, I confused the pedal assist system for a generator. After I reviewed the video I am really not sure if there is generator in the system.
The other video is just a recumbent Trike design. Would it make sense to add a generator to a electric bike?

ghurd:
I do not believe it would make ANY sense to add a generator to an electric bike.
There are too many losses to make it efficient.

Some electronic devices will allow the motor to act as a generator when it is possibly a good idea.
The electronic devices are complex, and best purchased from a regenerative braking circuit manufacturer.

joestue:
you should use one large one, it will be lighter and more efficient than two smaller ones.
