Bob, the county I live in came up with a model wind ordinance which allows SSMWT (Small Structure Mounted Wind Turbines) and now several local units of government have used this model mostly verbatim as thier local wind zoning oridinance, so, the County and township and city governments are enshrining this scam into law, I can't put my home built turbine on anything but a free standing monopole tower but they are fine with me buying a roof mounted turbine that will NEVER have a payback in a single lifetime.
