TomW;
 My apologies , still helping family dig out. DID not get the see this until today.
We stopped long enough the pause to speak the same salute I gave last year, most liked it, others could kiss my arse.

"A salute to those who stood before me, stood beside me and those who now stand in front of me!!"

ALSO SIR:: THANK YOU!!.
I do miss talking with my older brother, and the 82nd clan, "Killer (Killingsworth), Rev Billy Bob fob, Mountain Man"

ZAP; Yeah the bag pipes always bring a tear.

On a funny note, did anyone else see/record the KKK standing firm against the hater crowd?

Well, freedom ONLY works if it applies to everyone. Period.

KKK, Larry Flint, or any other creepy folks.

What gets me is all the hype about serving vets this year.

Memorial day is a day to honor the fallen. Hijacking it to make your product / services appear vet friendly is another symptom of the decay of this fat and lazy society we have wrought.
That is another holiday.

Pet peeve deal I guess.

I know  >:(, I can't seem to get "those" to understand what this day is really about, and how lucky they really are.

Then there's the kids who no longer will be able to say hi daddy!!! or good morning moma!! that I have to stop for.
You take care, hopefully one of these days; I'll be by to share a beer with ya.
I'll bring enough so's we can toast of old friends.
