Everything you need to know is in the ad (power, ground and circuit it reads). Says how right there.

i dont want to damage the meter.how should it be connected to a 12v battery to know the voltage of the battery?i mean,the green wire,where should i connect it

generally you don't use the battery which you are measuring to power the meter. That means the red goes to a constant positive 12V DC source like a small battery pack. The black goes to system ground. Green goes to the positive of what you want to measure

Watch out!
Some of these meters insist that the meter voltage must, MUST, be a different source than the read voltage. Both voltages can use the common neg, (black wire).
