I built a little PCB to measure wind generator RPMs. I have seven more PCBs and made a kit you can order to build one for yourself.
First come, first serve till they're gone.
- It take a single phase input from the generator and outputs a 0 - 5VDC output that represents 0 - 500 rpm.
- You can use a volt meter, analog meter or data acquisition system to display or log the RPM.
- The output can be scaled if necessary with an extra resistor load on the board.
- There is an LED on the board that shows the RPM by brightness as well.
- Supports 12V, 24v, 48V generators and higher outputs with resistor change.
- Supports generators with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, or 24 poles.
- Powers from 8V - 16VDC, about 10ma nominal current.
