I just hate to toss these in the trashcan. The renter neighbors moved leaving behind a slew of backyard kitsch. They'd put alkaline batteries in them that died and corroded the battery holders some... yup, there's six AA Ni-Cads in a landfill somewhere.
The plastic rotted - I saved only the solar cell, charging-photocell PCB, battery holder and LED section.
Nicer 3-wafer PV panels good for 1.2V AA or AAA NiCad charging. One has rust spots on the back.
These are boxed up and ready to go. USPS says $5.50 delivered to either coast, so with your stamp and envelope to send me CASH its six bucks to have these delivered.
I'll also throw in a few 3x6" Evergreen PV wafers just to see if they survive the trip.
