Damon, you can't second a guy for president, you're from the UK.

I'll second him for prez, instead.

...  oh wait - oops.

Doesn't change the fact that Mr. G. is a great guy.

He definitely has my vote!  We've been emailing for months now and he's been a tremendous help with my first wind project.  Can't thank him enough!

Ok,  my dumpload ain't pretty like steadfast's is, however it works well.  Every time I screwed up glen sent me more parts and good advice.  I abused him.  In my defence I am very dumb on this subject.  http://www.fieldlines.com/index.php/topic,146858.0.html  The abuse I dished out "that can't be justified" was all the things I ask him that had nothing To do with his charge controller.  His advice was good here also.  I can't believe his patients and helpfullness.

The only thing funny about him is he spells his name funny.
So if we are talking of running him for office, all I can say is "I thank you for your support"

I would have thought you first responce would have been.  Ah ha ha ha haaaa!  I guess you and Glen are both gentlemen.  It does seem to work well though.
Glen really really was pateint and helpfull.  He wouldn't even sell me anything till he questioned me.  He wanted it to work as bad as I did.  Nobody does that.

I saw that and fiirst thing that popped into my head was a FLUX capacitor  ;D.
What's in the coffee can?
OR is it using the heat rises effect for naturalized cooling?
Pretty awesome looking too.
Glen's a pretty good guy, must be from being around the Amish all the time  ;).

I'd vote for 'em,

I didn't know how hot the resistors got, so I tried to put it far enough from everything to be safe.  I am a cheepskate and used what I thought would do that.  I have never done this before and was just trying to get something that would work,  which it seems to do.
Thanks and I did need and got glen's help.
gww

PS
You can only blame glen for the working parts,  he should not be blamed for me having a coffee can at my house.

Thanks guys.

I never really worry about how ugly they are.

"They all look the same in the dark"

And the same thing goes for dump loads and controllers.   :o
